Cognitive Neuroscience - Winning

It's hard to believe there was a time when cognitive neuroscience was frowned upon by some intellectual snobs.

As a fully functional academic field, it has proven itself worthy time and time again, not that it had to.

Examining the fundamentals of cognition by taking a deep look at neural substrates, has let this branch of neuroscience make leaps and bounds towards a greater understanding of the brain.

As it is only around 40 years old, it is still in its infancy, yet the remarkable increases in brain mapping technology has left it at the forefront of winning science.

Now, we can study specialized regions of the brain with more specificity and fascinating results.
